Mission Statement
To introduce and unite families in the mission of Cypress Heights Academy, and deepen their understanding and love of their vocation as Christian parents and families
Dear Parents in Christ,
Beginning with “Gift: Integral Formation” by Dr. Eddie Mulholland, Family Leadership Program is excited to offer our parents a series of programs that will support and strengthen our Cypress Heights Academy families.
The programs will focus on the gift of our Integral Formation at Cypress Heights Academy, communication, discipline, traditions, a Lenten charity project, and time management. Each event will be held on a Sunday afternoon, beginning with a Potluck Dinner at 4:00 PM, followed by the Guest Speaker or Presentation at 5:15, and ending at 6:15/6:30.
During the talks, we will provide Crusader’s Fun Night activities for your registered children (ages 3 years-8th Grade), including a Crusader’s Coffee House for the 6th-8th Grade youth. This is provided at no cost to you, but there will be a donation basket available.
In order to adequately provide the babysitters, chaperones and activity materials for the Crusaders’ Fun Night, parents must register their child/children on line before the deadline date (one week prior to the event).
Family Leadership Program will end the year with a Fais-do-do at Boutin’s Restaurant on Bluebonnet. In case you don’t know, this is a fun family party with great food and boisterous Cajun dancing for everyone, young and old! There is limited seating, so please look for early reservation information coming very soon.
Family Leadership Program is a permanent part of our offerings to our families, and we sincerely hope you will print out our calendar and attend as often as possible. There will be something for every member of your family!
