Experience the Rosary Come Alive in our Children!
The Living Rosary is held each year at Cypress Heights Academy Grotto.
Come as a family, experience the power of prayer and be led by our children in the Living Rosary as we contemplate the Luminous Mysteries-The Mysteries of Light that John Paul II instituted in his 25th year of his pontificate. This Rosary will be made up of people instead of beads holding candles to be light in the darkness.

Charity
Charity is the virtue that gives meaning to all the other virtues. It is the basis, root, and mother of all other virtues. Without charity there can be no
authentic virtue.
It is the virtue that leads us to love others without exception as we love ourselves, always seeking what is good in thought, attitude, words, and action and serving others with concrete actions.
Charity is the center, essence, and perfection of all Christian life, since all Christ's teachings are summarized in the practice of charity.
Practicing Charity Means

- Treating others in a friendly way even when we are tired or in a bad mood.
- Helping those in need. Attending to others needs before our own. Making more time for others than for ourselves.
- Having a constructive, optimistic, and joyful attitude.
- Overcoming our own tiredness or bad moods in our dealings with others in an effort to avoid infecting others with these states.
- Offering our time and our very selves generously when we perceive others needs.
- Always speaking well of others.
- Discovering positive things in others virtues, qualities and successes and not focusing on negative aspects and defects.
- Patiently excusing others errors, remembering that no one is perfect and that we too make many mistakes.
- Responding to hate with love and to violence with peace. Acting in a peaceful manner; solving problems through positive attitudes.
- Contributing to the creation of a joyful environment for others by avoiding complaints or criticism.
