Events
A committee that is responsible for organizing various functions throughout the school year Responsibilities include: coordinating and organizing the following events - Birthday of Blessed Virgin Mary and CHA, Christmas Program, St. Joseph’s Altar, Grandparents Day, All Saints Day, Talent Show, Fashion/Modesty Show, and the Christmas Store. Time commitment/Meetings: varies according to volunteer’s availability




Health
A committee that organizes events that promote personal health and safety
Responsibilities include: coordinating and organizing various events throughout the school year (i.e. Career week, Health and Safety Week, Field Day, sports) Time commitment/Meetings: varies according to volunteer’s availability


Apostolic
A committee that is responsible for organizing and implementing various projects that focus on gifts of time, generosity, and service towards others throughout the community Responsibilities include: coordinating and organizing individual grade/classroom projects on a monthly basis as well as two school wide projects per year (fall and spring) Time commitment/Meetings: varies according to volunteer’s availability.
Drama
A committee that supports drama productions Responsibilities include: promotion of productions, development/creation of sets and costumes, etc. Time commitment/Meetings: varies according to volunteer’s availability


K4J
A committee that supports and organizes the K4J monthly virtue, including the monthly K4J skits during assembly Responsibilities include: organizing the monthly virtue and helping students in their preparation for the skits Time Commitment: monthly meetings; additional time requirement will vary depending on the skits that are being performed


Family Leadership
A committee that supports and organizes (with guidance from principal) a series of programs that support and strengthen families. Talks will focus on vocation of the family including family communication, discipline, and understanding children. Examples of talks are “Raising great children”, “Small and great beginnings” (preK-3rd), “Parent Power” (4th – 6th), “Real love and real life” (7 – 8th), Mother-Daughter Events – e.g. “Tea for a true princess”, Father-Son Event – “The King’s Army”, Mother’s Prayer Group Lenten retreat, Father’s Lenten Retreat, etc. Basically, it will consists of motivating speakers, hands-on workshops and opportunities to enrich and educate the family. Responsibilities include: organizing monthly events/talks and recruiting volunteers to assist in speaking, setting up, etc. Time commitment: Monthly meeting: varies according to month of events.
