Cypress Heights Academy Parents Association (CHAPA)

Cypress Heights Academy Parents Associon (CHAPA) is responsible for coordinating the volunteer efforts of the various subcommittees. Meetings will be held every other month beginning in August.

CHAPA Committees

Fundraising
A committee that is responsible for organizing the school’s annual Gala including the auction and golf tournament Responsibilities include: catering/food vendors, location of event, decorations, solicitation of donations, planning, publicity, etc. Other fundraising responsibilities include applying for grants and donations and collection and redemption of labels for the Label Program (Box Tops, Tyson, CC, and Albertsons) Time commitment – flexible


Mother's Club

A committee that provides volunteer services that specifically supports the teachers and enhances student life and social awareness Responsibilities include: promoting and coordinating school fundraising events (supply boxes and Bookfair) and student life functions (spirit, DARE, and MADD) Time commitment – monthly meetings; additional time requirement will vary depending on the events being coordinated


Father's Club

A committee that provides volunteer services to the school and its committees. This committee will also be active in organizing and providing support for the annual Golf Tournament Responsibilities include: supports school events/projects as the need arises Time commitment/Meetings: monthly meetings; additional time requirement will vary depending on the events being coordinated
