1. Request an application:
Contact our school at (225)755-1558 to request or pick up an application. We would be happy to provide you with any information you need or want.
2. Complete the application:
After you have completed the application, please return it to Cypress Heights Academy with all other required forms and the $50 application fee. This begins the application process. Applications are processed on a first-received basis.
3. Request Transcripts:
Please send the transcript Request form to your child’s current school requesting that a copy of all transcripts and test scores be sent to Cypress Heights Academy. We will need to review these records before your child/family is further interviewed.
4. Assessment Testing:
As part of the interview process, your child will also take an assessment test. This test will help us analyze your child’s academic skills. Fee: $50 per family.
5. Family Interview:
Once the application and all records have been received, they will be reviewed by the school administration. At that time you will be contacted to participate in an interview including both parents and possibly the student(s).
6. Notification of Acceptance:
Following the interview, assessment test and previous records, you will be notified by letter of your child’s acceptance status to Cypress Heights Academy. If accepted, you will receive all the necessary information to complete your child’s file.
